Adrian Bürger was born in 1987 in Heilbronn, Germany. He received a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Business Administration and Engineering at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Since November 2014, he is pursuing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Moritz Diehl, where he is working on software and methods for model predictive control of renewable energy systems. One aim of his work is the implementation of a model predictive controller for a solar thermal climate system at the Faculty of Management Science and Engineering at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences.
