Aachen-Freiburg Workshop on numerical modelling of a Gasoline Controlled Auto Ignition (GCAI) Engine for optimal control

Friday, January 20, 2017, 12:00 - 18:00

Room 02-012, Georges-Köhler Allee 102, Freiburg 79110, Germany

The bilateral workshop is part of the DFG "Forschergruppe Optimierungsbasierte Multiskalenregelung motorischer Niedertemperatur-Brennverfahren”, and will
focus on the sub-project "Numerical methods for optimization based control of cyclic processes”. Aim of this workshop is to concretely discuss the development of a first-principle numerical model that is fit for the optimal control of GCAI-engines. This model will serve as a basis for the design of embedded optimization algorithms for iterative learning nonlinear model predictive control (IL-NMPC) and NMPC in the milli and microsecond range.

Preliminary program

from 11:30: Arrival members WP2 and WP3 in Freiburg
12:00: Lunch at Solar Info Center
