Bosch’s research activities stretch across areas such as digitalization and connectivity, electrification, artificial intelligence, and healthcare. The robotics team, part of the automation research, has established a strong position among its scientific peers in key technologies and is playing an important role in bringing these technologies to products in a rapidly scaling robotics market. This talk presents an overview of this robotics research portfolio at Bosch and several of its achievements; it will also dive a little deeper into the challenges of robot navigation.
