Flow measurement is often a tricky and expensive process that requires extensive use of visualization techniques and experiments. This talk concentrates on flow modelling and characterization for a small scale flow acceleration setup, conducted for the last five months as part of my Bachelor’s thesis at IMTEK. The work will be presented in order to address the question of flow measurements with a low-cost framework. Experiments conducted during the study, and the flow model developed using the results, will be discussed during the talk.
