Abstract:

In the sixth part of the talk I will introduce alternating differential forms on manifolds and show how the known differential operators div, grad, rot arise from the outer differential.  The integration of differential forms and of their outer differentials leads to Stoke's theorem. I will introduce the metric tensor that allows to calculate distances between points of the manifold. The introduced objects lead to a a simple formulation of Maxwell's equations.
