Room 02-016/18, Georges-Koehler-Allee 101, Freiburg 79110, Germany
Small-scale internal workshop on both theory and practice of localization at Freiburg University's Faculty of Engineering. All participants present themselves briefly with one slide at the start, followed by 15 minute talks and discussions. Each talk is of introductory nature and focusses on research questions. The aim is that participants learn about each other’s approaches, and detect possible synergies for research collaborations. The workshop is organized by Wenxin Xiong, Katrin Baumgärtner, Christian Schindelhauer, and Moritz Diehl.
Preliminary Program:
09:00 - Welcome
09:05 - Introductions by all Participants (one slide each)
09:20 - Talk 1 Katrin Baumgärtner: Generalized and Extended Gauss-Newton Method and Its Applications to State and Parameter Estimation
09:40 - Talk 2 Wenxin Xiong: Robust range based localization via alternating direction method of multipliers
10:00 - Talk 3 Patrick Kroh: tba
10:20 - Brainstorming on Overlap and Synergies
