DFG funds new research unit on active learning for systems and control (ALeSCo)

We are pleased to announce that the German Research Foundation (DFG) has approved funding for a new research unit focused on Active Learning for Systems and Control (ALeSCo).

Moritz Diehl and the Systems Control and Optimization Laboratory (syscop) will contribute through their project "Active Learning for Stochastic Economic Model Predictive Control – Nonlinear Optimization Formulations and Numerical Methods" (ALeSCo Project P5).

The research unit furthermore includes projects by Matthias Müller and Victor Lopez (Leibniz University Hannover), Tim Faulwasser (Hamburg University of Technology), Karl Worthmann (TU Illmenau), and Sandra Hirche (TU Munich).
