Shiying Dong received the B.S. degree in automation from Jilin University in 2017, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering. Since 2022, he is a visiting Ph.D. student with the Department of Microsystems Engineering (IMTEK), University of Freiburg, Germany. His main research interest includes numerical optimization, optimal control of connected and automated vehicles.
